The Sculpture to the left Altar 'El Ponk' with Pancho Pirata & Viuda Negra at Viva Las Vegas 14.
Ben is Dead published in 1994. There is an article written about Hollywood Squatter Punx about survivng the streets in 1993, and the person interviewed Pancho (myself), Derius, Chuck (who's incarcerated for life), and others.
Here are some events I supported in the music scene. Great rockabilly shows at Rudolpho's in Los Feliz. I got to see great performance by Chaz Romero, Johnny Powers, Levi Dexter, Tim Polecat, and many others. All the underground scene was attending at the shows; punk, rockers, bikers, and rodders. Then Viva Las Vegas was the new event which began in 1997, Las Vegas.
During the 1990s, it was hard to find great shows because many bands were breaking up such as The Ramones and many just stopped playing. I went to the direction of motown, country, phycho, garage, blues, and other types of music. At the time I lived in New york from 1994 to 1996, left to Los Angeles, and resided there until this day and have found an event at Rudopho's performance by original and modern Rockabilly acts. Another venue that had great shows was located in Hollywood and Vine named, 'Jack's Sugar Shack'.
When Viva Las Vegas was about the Music and Americana 1950s style, only a handful of hot rods, and Original artist such as, Ed Roth, Link Wray, and others walking around and hanging out.
Viva 3, Y2K. Whoever was the artist on the brochures was great and the type of paper they used for promoting the event was cool.
Viva 4, Last show i've been to until Viva 13 to check out Chuck Berry in 2010.
Another great show at the Gold Coast--
Between the years of 2001 through 2007, I was studying mechanical engineering and fine arts. In the fine arts department I've studied photography and one of the main teachers that taught photography was Jack Butler. His a great innovator and conceptual artist in photography. This was at Cal State University, Los Angeles 2006-07. The picture came out in Juxatapoz Magazine 2007. He has a collection of rods and buddies with Robert Williams.
Here is a collection of DIY mags from 1980-82 that I have received from Friends in New York 1994. Good thing I kept them because I almost trashed 'em mags. I had my place in Brooklyn, New York until 1996. Previous years I was squatting in San Francisco, Los Angeles and many other states.
